Born and raised in a bilingual family in Guatemala, Miriam grew up with the blessing of dual cultures. She holds a BA in Elementary Education from Hobe Sound Bible College, where she also met and married her husband David. She served as a teacher in a Christian school for 21 years. While there, she developed an international student program, and the bilingual program that is the seed for what BRIDGESPuentes is today.

She has two grown children, a grandson, and many “adopted kids” around the world.

Priscila is mother to 4 fantastic teenagers that share her love for both Guatemala and U.S.A. She was born in Guatemala and grew up spending time in both countries. She spends half of her year in Guatemala and the other half in USA and travelling to places like South Sudan, visiting sustainable development projects that supply her company, Lucy Trotzke.

She holds a B.A. in Theology. She has spent over 10 years teaching and in administrative positions in Christian Schools. 2022 marks the twelfth year as CEO of Lucy Trotzke and President of G-Activa. Both of these companies work to support growing organizations seeking to improve urban living by creating job opportunities, offering business consultations and coordinating vocational training.

With a passion for kids and Christian Schools, Kathy has joined the Bridges team to help connect people to a mission and ministry that changes lives. As a former Preschool teacher and Christian School Development Director, Kathy is a firm believer that when God stirs our hearts to take action, He calls a community of caring people to provide the time and treasures needed to make it happen.

Kathy lives on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland with her husband Mark.
